  • My Biography

I never knew Dad Goodwin, he went to be with the Lord many years ago. But I knew Mom Goodwin very well. For the last ten years of her life, she was my mentor and friend. I visited with her in her home a number of times, and we exchanged many phone calls and letters. The last time I was at Sister Goodwin's home, she laid her hands on me. God chose to begin using me in the way the Goodwins had been used in speaking in tongues, acting out the message, and interpreting. Other gifts began operating also. I've ministered pastorally or prophetically, part time or full time for 25 years. I believe God's calling on my life is to pick up the Goodwins' mantle and teach and demonstrate spiritual gifts in the same scriptural, balanced, and genuine way that they did. If you knew the Goodwins and wish to share your testimony with me, or if you have questions, please contact me at admin@brothermel.com. Kind Regards, Brother Mel
