A message to Pastors:
Most comments on the sites, and most e-mails I receive in private, are from pastors. Many have told me that they have found in my writings a balance that they rarely see.
Some pastors have been additionally lead to contact me and discuss the possibility of me coming to hold some meetings for them. They have read my writings and judged that their congregations would benefit from having these and similar teachings taught and demonstrated to their congregation. We will post these meetings on our new website in late February.
Perhaps it is because I have served as a pastor, or maybe it is because these teachings are what is needed in this hour, but I am finding an almost instant affection arise between me and the pastors who have contacted me so far. I’ve made more friends in ministry in the last two months, than I had made in many years.
I believe the Lord’s assignment to me at this time, is to teach how pastors and congregations can mutually flow together in Spiritual operations in a scriptural and balanced manner.
Many guest ministers can teach and define the gifts. Others can flow in them consistently, which is a good example for congregations to witness. But few can teach spiritual order, how the gifts flow together between the pastor and the congregation, and how to grow as a congregation in a balanced way in the things of the Spirit. This is my area of focus.
This was a major component of the Goodwins’ ministry. They flowed together with their congregation in the things of the Spirit. There was structure. There was sound teaching. There were loving corrections. There was order. Carter and Hagin both noted of the Goodwins’ church the strong anointing–the strongest they had ever consistently seen. And they noted also the order–also the best they had ever seen. Strong anointing and appropriate order–they go hand in hand.
If you would choose to invite me to come, I would like to minister for several services on different aspects of this theme: strong anointing and spiritual order.
